what i’m wearing: multicoloured bikini top, matching bikini bottoms, beach scarf, ombre sunnies
On our second day, after a wander around Tulum Ruins – which are definitely worth a visit, by the way – we stumbled across a local beach known as Playa Santa Fe. We had actually been on the lookout for Playa Paraiso, the famous beach in Tulum, but this ended up being a lovely surprise. Here, the beach was deserted – aside from a few touts selling boat tours, a beach cafe with sunloungers (would not recommend), and a few lone palm trees providing the perfect (free!) shade to escape from the midday sun. I had been longing for a beach with pure white sand, warm turquoise waters and a wooden boat perched on the edge for that perfect tranquil view; everything that I had been looking for I found here at Santa Fe.
Of course, no visit to a tropical beach would be complete without a cute bikini, and this one is possibly the most beautiful, colourful one I have owned. Cut in a bardot style, it’s very on-trend and can also pass as a cute top. The multicoloured wavy stripes add a fun, playful edge and look so fresh against sun-kissed skin. The only coverup you need is a neutral beach scarf and a pair of round sunglasses to finish off a slightly retro tropical look.
What do you think of this beach look? Have you found your dream bikini for this summer yet?
